Invisalign

Invisalign aligners consist of a series of nearly invisible, removable and bespoke orthodontic aligners that you change every two weeks.

As you replace each orthodontic aligner, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position prescribed by your orthodontist.

Your dentist can provide you with a Virtual 3D Treatment Plan (ClinCheck) showing you the series of movements your teeth will go through over the course of the Invisalign orthodontic treatment.

This allows you to see up front what your teeth are expected to look like at the end of the Invisalign treatment. From the results of the ClinCheck, your Surbiton Invisalign dentist will produce custom-made, clear Invisalign aligners for you.

  • You will wear each set of Invisalign aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss.
  • As you replace each Invisalign aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position.
  • You will attend regular visits with your dentist throughout the treatment, and she will assess the movement of your teeth and make any necessary adjustment.
  • Total Invisalign treatment time is 9-15 months and the number of Invisalign aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both vary from case to case.
