You will wear each set of orthodontic aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

As you replace each orthodontic aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move - little by little, week by week - until they have straightened to the final position.

You will attend regular orthodontist visits at Surbiton Smile Centre throught the treatment, and our orthodontist will assess the movement of your teeth and make any adjustment if needed.

Total treatment time averages 9-15 months and the average number of aligners worn during treatment is between 18 and 30, but both will vary from case to case.
Treatment with the invisalign system is :
Removable: the invisalign orthodontic aligners can be removed to eat, drink, brush and floss or for special occasions.

Lingual Braces At Surbiton Orthodontic Clinic
In lingual braces the brackets are cemented onto the backside of the teeth making them invisible while in standard braces the brackets are cemented onto the front side of the teeth. Hence, lingual braces are a cosmetic alternative to those require orthodontic treatment but do not wish to compromise their appearance with a visible orthodontic brace.

Inman Aligners At Surbiton Orthodontic Clinic
It uses nickel titanium technology to very gently but constantly move teeth. When compared to other removable orthodontic appliances such as invisalign the treatment times are much faster, with some treatments taking as little as six to eight weeks.
It is similar to the Invisalign system in that the appliance is removable so you can remove it to eat and clean your teeth. However it is not as discrete as Invisalign and can be seen in your mouth. The initial treatment can be completed in 8-12 weeks. Minor crowding can be corrected in 8 weeks or less. However, the inman aligners is not suitable for everyone and cannot treat more complex movements of the back teeth like the Invisalign system or fixed braces.
